Meera is an LA-based writer/director who gravitates towards comedy for TV and film, but loves to work in any genre and format. She especially likes art that’s strange, subversive and fun.

She has experience in narrative screenwriting, adaptations, corporate and digital content, and can easily move between different tones and styles to capture specific voices and worlds.

She’s worked as a writer's assistant to Pamela Adlon for 5 years, collaborating on a number of TV and feature projects, and developing dozens of series with FX, working with Bandera (Mike Judge/Greg Daniels), Belletrist (Emma Roberts), Pageboy (Elliott Page), Joan Jett, and many others.
